Digital Account Strategist

Position Summary:

The Digital Account Strategist is responsible for the successful management of digital strategy for client brands. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and drive growth opportunities. This person is responsible for maintaining and building strong client relationships through coordination of account service activities, regular contact with client marketing people, and the marshaling of agency resources. This individual combines an in-depth knowledge of client business objectives, internal online strategies, and their competitive landscape with a rich background in the digital marketing industry to develop effective digital marketing recommendations.

The Digital Account Strategist should be fully versed at all times on the status and good standing of all interactive client accounts, and be prepared to step in to support account service personnel, correct problems, and resolve issues. This person is critical to the ongoing health of agency interactive account relations and, consequently, to the ongoing health of the agency.

Responsibilities:

Overall Digital

  • Develops unique strategies and builds upon current client strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed objectives
  • Manages client expectations, bringing issues/concerns to clients’ attention before they become problems, offering potential solutions, and advising of potential delivery delays
  • Supports account manager(s) in creating or obtaining necessary internal agency resources for proposals and work delivery
  • Develops strong, trusting relationships with clients and agency partners, providing leadership and support during strategy, concept, and execution
  • Balances technical skills with marketing agency experience and a general enthusiasm for relationship marketing, advertising, branding and communications

Programmatic Marketing

  • Setup, manage and optimize Programmatic campaigns for our Digital Media clients via DoubleClick, FBX, etc
  • Produce and present engaging campaign analysis for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing and media optimization and management

Email Marketing

  • Works with web designers, programmers and copywriters to implement email services as an important element in all agency-produced and maintained web/interactive properties
  • Utilizes email services to improve response rates on agency-produced websites, draw new traffic to sites, and convert site visitors
  • Evaluates and corrects any technological problems relating to the efficient provision of e-marketing services

Google AdWords/PPC Marketing

  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics
  • Generate monthly and quarterly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals

SEO/SEM Management

  • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Implement link building and other SEO best practices campaigns in coordination with client goals

Social Media Management

  • Create comprehensive social media strategies, increase visibility, membership and traffic across all client brands, and platforms
  • Monitors social media trends, tools and applications, and appropriately applies knowledge to increasing client use of social media.
  • Experiments with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
  • Developing and implementing social media advertising strategies that fit in with the overall digital brand goals. Facebook and Instagram ads, promoted tweets, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 year’s advertising/marketing experience required, 2+ years preferred in digital media, and/or account management for an advertising agency
  • Passion for the interactive industry, digital media, and the numbers that make strong campaigns even better
  • Proactive approach is a MUST. This position must stay attuned to clients’ marketing and media plans/needs, see problems and offer solutions before they escalate
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
  • Experience with WordPress CMS
  • Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Yahoo, Bing); AdWords / Bing certification a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS X, Microsoft Office, and email marketing software a plus

Freelance Production Designer

Description: We are looking for a bright and creative production designer to work with our high caliber Art Department. The position will offer the right candidate invaluable art/design experience at a well-established, well-reputed agency. Our Production Designer will perform a variety of tasks relating to the creative development of each issue including, image scanning, maintaining art files, and basic design duties (relative to experience).  

Responsibilities:

  • Design, edit and/or modify our existing websites and WordPress blogs
  • Develop new website and web-template concepts
  • Develop infographics and other iconic information for presentations
  • Assist in the production of presentations for and about our clients and other assets
  • Develop templates and other presentation tools using PowerPoint and InDesign
  • Assist the department in developing branding elements for various companies
  • Execute brand standard documents and brand guidelines for various assets
  • Manage the receipt and delivery of assets to internal and external constituents
  • Prepare presentations for clients
  • Perform departmental duties as requested from time to time
  • May be assigned other projects and duties relating to other Advertising and/or Marketing duties

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year professional experience and 2-5 years design experience (Can include college or other relevant experience.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS X, Microsoft Office. Experience with an email marketing software a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with an excellent track record and ability to self prioritize.

Art Director

 

The Art Director is responsible for interfaces between the client, the account executive and the creative department. They are responsible for taking strategic marketing plans and interpreting them into “big ideas.” They are also required to create art concepts in the production of advertising and marketing projects and campaigns. The art director also can supply copy or headline concepts for a project.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Designs print ads, brochures, booklets, flyers, billboards, interactive/web ads and more, according to strategic plans provided.
  • Works with other art directors and additional designated “team” personnel in production of said materials.
  • Strives to meet assigned deadlines. Alerts traffic manager if deadlines cannot be met for any reason, or if an extension is required.
  • Reviews all production materials on assigned projects, and signs off prior to forwarding job to traffic manager for further required approvals/outside production
  • Meets with account executives/traffic manager/production manager/media as required to ensure timely, accurate completion of assigned projects
  • Has working knowledge of computer design software and hardware and strives to stay current in level of knowledge and abilities.
  • Works closely with account services to solve marketing problems through smart, well-designed advertising and collateral materials that help sell product, and maintain good image for clients and agency.

Interactive Account Manager

This person is responsible for maintaining and building strong client relationships through coordination of account service activities, regular contact with client marketing people, and the marshaling of agency resources. The interactive account manager should be fully versed at all times on the status and good standing of all interactive client accounts, and be prepared to step in to support account service personnel, correct problems, and resolve issues. The interactive account manager should have at least five years of marketing experience (client, service, brand management, advertising, interactive, direct marketing and promotion), plus at least three years in development and management of corporate websites, B2B and e-commerce, including experience in development of interactive strategies. A solid understanding of internet technologies and protocols is required. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; excellent verbal and written communications skills; analytic thinking ability; and a sense of entrepreneurship are all critical to this person. Leadership and team-building skills are required.   Responsibilities:

  • Liaises with research, media, public relations and other non-creative freelance resources.
  • Works with other art directors and additional designated “team” personnel in production of said materials.
  • Attends clients presentations and meetings as requested by interactive account executives or clients, and visits client contacts at least monthly to maintain a strong secondary contact with clients.
  • Seeks out new business opportunities with new and existing clients and plays a supportive role in their development.
  • Reviews interactive production schedules, estimates, costs and billings to ensure schedules and budgets are met, and cost controls adhered to; intercedes where billing issues arise with specific clients.
  • Maintains direct, day-to-day, senior level client contact.
  • Works in a proactive manner to provide client marketing plans with the greatest amount of added value through communications.
  • Coordinates and authorizes quotations for client approval.

Social Media Specialist

As the Social Media Specialist, you are the primary advisor over all social media channels. You will actively be participating in blogging, social bookmarking, commenting and posting, community development and management, etc. We are looking for someone who thrives on creativity and innovation. You are the primary source of social creative content; we want an individual who can adapt their perspective for differing brands among clients. You will also be held accountable to not only collect data and analyze it, but to be able to take that information and develop new marketing strategies to implement the most effective campaigns and posting strategies. Responsibilities 

  • Update all social platforms as requested by the Account Manager or Social Media Specialist (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Perform research for relevant information to contribute new and creative social content
  • Engage in brainstorming with the Account Manager to create new and innovative marketing campaigns for social
  • Respond to posts and comments in a timely manner on social media platforms to retain interaction with followers/customers
  • Create social schedules for all clients to keep posting varied based on content the client has requested
  • Compile and analyze social media analytics
  • Write and edit blog posts
